Linear text
Linear text refers to the sequential organizational
structure of traditional documents. Web documents organized
in a strict linear structure provide a single link path up
and down through the Web pages. Some linear documentation
also includes a link to the "top" of the document,
or the "Home" page, from each of the subordinate
pages. They do not include links to related documentation
outside of the defined path.
